19 Upcoming FPS and Third Person Shooter Games in 2023 and Beyond
#GameSpot #Starfield #Redfall
These first two games are Xbox exclusive, day one Game Pass releases that have quite a bit of buzz around them: Starfield and Redfall. They are also the first two on this list that do not have a solid release date, but are still confirmed for sometime in 2023 as of this video’s recording. But as awesome as those games look, let’s talk about two games that you can play sooner. In February, you’ll have Atomic Heart on the 21st and Destiny 2: Lightfall a week later on the 28th.
In March, you can look forward to exploring the world of The Day Before, an open-world MMO survival game set in a post-pandemic America. The entire package looks like a cross between The Last of Us and The Division, so fans looking forward to The Division Heartland–a free to play spin off–can get lost in The Day Before while they wait for new information from Ubisoft.
And if that isn’t enough zombies for you, Dead Island 2 has you covered and will release on April 28. This sequel, which was originally announced in 2014, does not seem to veer too far away from what the first game was like. Keeping with this survival theme: S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Stalker 2 is the long-awaited mainline sequel to the cult classic original Stalker: Shadow of Chornobyl from 2007.
If you’re looking for more ways to spend time with your friends, check out Hyenas, Exoprimal or Payday 3. If you need a heist game sooner–that isn’t GTA related–then you might be interested in Crime Boss: Rockay City which releases on March 28. Looking for more of an old school feeling game? Keep your eyes peeled for Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun. On the more modern side of things is Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.
Some other notable titles include: RoboCop: Rogue City, a first person shooter in which you uphold the law in the crime riddled streets of Old Detroit. Wanted: Dead, a hybrid slasher-shooter from the makers of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive. The Finals, a free to play first person shooter with destructible areas. ARC Raiders, a free to play third person co-op shooter that has you fighting waves of mechanized enemies. And my favorite: Anger Foot, a fast paced first person shooter about kicking ass to kick ass beats.
Starfield combat looks weightless so far. Hope they can fix it before launch
I had to rewind a couple of times when he said "Destiny's 2 year 6" time flies!!
Don’t throw one tps game in here just for the sake of being able to change the title. Do better
#1!
First
Glad to see Atomic Heart getting positive attention
Atomic heart day one on gamepass!
Predicting it now 2023 will be the most Microtransactions filled Year for gaming ever
looking forward for STALEKR 2
Payday 3 BARELY got announced. I don't think it's coming any sooner than 2025 at the best
Starfield shooting mechanics look very bad and outdated.
I am certainly interested in Redfall, I'm after a good looter shooter. It's been a few years since we got a good one. But I can't help but worry that it's going to be one of those games that forces me to mute voices because the main characters are going to be talking non-stop. I think it's a safe bet to assume the dialogue is going to be really bad humour.
"another great year for the shooter genre" ?? 2022 was extremely mid for the shooter genre.
im exited to get my hands on Starship Troopers extermination
Excited for Redfall. Everything I’ve seen so far about it looks right up my alley.
Is it just me or does anyone else think Starfield looks awful like it's from the 360 days
Personally, Armored Core 6 and Starfield are the ones to lookout for in 2023
I have a feeling I’ll be spending hundreds of hours in starfield
What about Witchfire, always thought that game had a cool slick look
Oooh, finally some fun Warhammer games!
The only horde defense games I'll spend money on are: Darktide and Starship Troopers: Extermination.
Thank you for a quality video, but it's painful to see Atomic Heart receiving such an attention, when its developer is tied with russian government money streams, especially the same day russia targeted and destroyed a residential building full of people in Dnipro where I was born and lived for 23 years
I feel like you are required to have a 1500+ dollar computer nowadays to really enjoy all new 1st person shooter games that are being released.
It's so sad to see atomic heart in such a good video. The developers are sponsored by russian goverment and are going to pay taxes to russian budget which is terorrizing ukraine for almost a year now (not taking the 8 years of slow conflict before). you may say that games are out of politics but if they are sponsoring actual killing people (the whole nation) do they worth playing and popularizing?
Im most excited for those games
robocop rogue city
exoprimal
dead island 2
atomic heart
Starfeild and the bay before are going to flop
Your information on The Day Before is incorrect. It's a pc/ console release for March 1st, 2023.
Please, ADD CHAPTERS TO YOUR VIDEOS
when will those repetitive UPCoMiNG sheit vids end ???
Space Marine 2 🙌🏻 ❤
It is so good to see, that it seems like we get more Singleplayer FPS Games after a long time.
I mean the last few years there were simply so few great Singleplayer FPS Games it is quite unbelievable (especially compared to the past)
Outro music name please ??
Day Before is coming to consoles too bad info
crime boss&warhammer
I just wanted the final Brothers In Arms to come out. I've given up on that ever happening.
What? You forgot about dead space remake and Resident Evil 4 Remake
Atomic Heart. What else??
The Day Before has massive red flags that indicate it's not going to be a very good game when it launches. Several YouTubers have done deep dives on TDB, and I urge everybody to watch them. The biggest red flag is the developers behind it have never done a MMO, and all their previous projects are now abandoned. Most of the "game play" looks overly scripted and oddly confined even though it claims it's a large open world. Buyer beware.
😤I really feel that Atomic Heart shouldn't be anticipated – the game is a USSR nostalgia backed by Russian pro-war oligarchs. Just another way to fund Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Народ, извините за рекламу, но я начинающий в деле Ютуба,записываю прохождения игр, если интересно заходите, смотрите, стараюсь делать весело, что бы поднять настроение))
I feel like I'm the only one who misses the old school third person shooters. I'm talking max payne, uncharted type games where your just another human shooting other humans. I'm done with all the sci fi, post apocalyptic or zombie games. I want a return to normal adventure shooters. The only game I can think of right now that is like that is hitman 3.
I'm tired of these sci fi games. Can we get a regular human vs human third person shooter?
Most interested in the new stalker game but starfield looks interesting also the finals for multiplayer looks like it could be great
If you look at the history of the developers with The day before, it looks pretty bad. I don't believe it will be a good game. Some believe it is scripted game play that was shown.
Not a good idea hyping Atomic Heart. It's being funded by russian blood money and also possibly a scam project with crazy employee turnover in the studio.
An apartment building (full of people) in my city was completely destroyed by a russian missile, and buying and promoting this game means some of the game's revenue would help fund more of these attacks (via taxes russia-based developers' and investors' income).
Socom ever getting remade?
Support for Atomic Heart is a recommendation to pay taxes on the production of Russian missiles, which are simply killing thousands of Ukrainians today. Please refrain from supporting aggressive war. Thanks.
You mentioned the big yearly update for destiny but not the big yearly update for Warframe
Hearing the word thousand after forty is rough on the ears.
Why'd they have to change the spell of Cherno to Chorno D:
